What is this medicine?
Zerokrim Plus tablets is one of the best quality Dog and Cat deworming tablets available in market. Zerokrim Plus tablets provide a broad-spectrum efficacy. This is achieved with 3 effective ingredients having different spectra of activity. Praziquantel is effective against cestodes (tapeforms). Pyrantel embonate is effective against hookworms and ascarids. Febantel is effective against nematode parasites including whipworms. This medicine is for an oral usage only.
What is the composition of this medicine?
Each Tablet Contains:
- Praziquantel BP - 50mg
- Pyrantel Embonate BP - 144mg
- Febantel BP - 150mg
- Excipients - q.s
What are the indications for using this medicine?
For the control of the following gastrointestinal tapeworms and roundworms (both adult and immature worms) of adult dogs, puppies and cats:
- Ascarids – Toxocara canis, Toxascaris Leonina (adult and late immature forms)
- Hookworms – Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum (adults)
- Whipworms – Trichuris vulpis (adults)
- Tapeworms – Echinococcus species, Taenia species, Dipylidium caninum.
What should I watch for while taking this medicine?
Do not exceed the recommended dose when treating pregnant bitches. It is recommended that a veterinary surgeon is consulted before treating pregnant animals for roundworms.
What side effects may I notice from this medicine?
ZEROKRIM PLUS is safe and side effects are rare. Sometimes, anoxeria, vomiting and diarrhoea may be seen.
Where can I keep my medicine?
Store it in a cool and dry place. Protect from the direct sunlight.
