General information

Geriforte is an ayurvedic herbal formulation containing more than forty active plant extracts. It is a broad-spectrum phytogenic invigorant aimed to slow tissue degeneration and accelerates cells’ restoration. It is a potent antioxidant that helps to eliminate free radicals from the body. Due to immunomodulatory action, it supports active immunity and prevents quick ageing. It is used to increase a threshold of fatigability and promotes stress resistance; it improves cardiovascular and respiratory system functioning; it facilitates blood circulation and decreases the level of lipids in the blood.

Directions

Take this medication exactly as your doctor has prescribed it. You must carefully follow all directions. Avoid exceeding your dose or taking the medication longer than it was advised by your doctor. The standard recommended dosage is 2 capsules taken two times per day, and then you can lower the dosage to 1 capsule taken also twice daily. Swallow it with a full glass of lukewarm water.

Precautions

Consult your doctor in case you may be allergic to any herbal component of the product; if you are pregnant or breastfeeding a child. Notify your doctor if you are supposed to have a surgery.

No contraindications have been indicated.

Possible side effect

This medication is not known to produce any side effects provided you take it as per the prescribed dosage.

Drug interactions

Any drug interactions haven’t been indicated. In case you are not confident whether this medicinal product is compatible with other medicines or supplements, discuss it with your doctor or pharmacist. It is not advisable to combine the usage of this product with other drugs of similar class without your doctor’s permission as it may result in a serious aggravation.

Missed dose

In case you have missed to take a dose of this medication, take it as soon as possible. If you are already supposed to take the next dose, do not take the dose you forgot and keep your ordinary dosing schedule. Do not take two dosages right away.

Overdose

If you think you overdosed the medicine, immediately contact your local poison center and notify your doctor or pharmacist. Do this even if there are no sings of discomfort or poisoning. You may need urgent medical attention.

Storage

Store this product in a dry tight container away from sunlight, heat and moisture at room temperature between 15-25 C (or 57-77 F). Do not store it in the bathroom. Keep this product out of the reach of children and pets.
